Welcome to Northmore Care Home in Gillingham, Kent; an independently run family care home providing care for the elderly and registered for EMI/Dementia sufferers.

At a time when care homes seem to be getting more an more impersonal, we’re proud to still offer a one-to-one style service that takes on board every individual’s requirements and sets out to deliver them whether personal, social, religious or cultural. Each resident chooses their own key worker to ensure their needs are met, minds are challenged and that their time in our care is comfortable, enjoyable and full of the activities they enjoy.

We enjoy close relationships with clients and their families, operating an “always welcome” policy to visitors and encouraging feedback through quality assurance questionnaires, reviews and appraisals for our highly trained staff. We care for a small group of nine residents so that we can offer each of them individual time and attention, and we always want to know about ways we can improve the service or make people happier being here.

Experienced in common age related illnesses and conditions such as memory loss, frailty and incontinence we are also registered to provide specialist care for those suffering from Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and stroke through ongoing advanced training for our team.
